Known as the father of Japanese whisky, Masataka Taketsuru started Nikka in 1952 after his establishment of two distilleries located in Hokkaido and Sendai. Recognised for its elaboration of grain whiskies, the brand's Coffey Grain series imparts a more flavourful character than most and is housed in unique bottles for an outward show of innovative spirit.
